the Roundtable fellowship

The Central Ohio Theatre Roundtable is proud to announce the annual Central Ohio Theatre Roundtable Fellowship.

This award offers financial support to graduating high school seniors from Central Ohio who are looking to pursue the next steps in their theatrical endeavors, whether inside the classroom or beyond, onstage or off.

This Fellowship is open to graduating seniors from all of the following counties:  Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Knox, Licking, Madison, Pickaway and Union.

To assist in this effort, the Theatre Roundtable is contacting high school and high school programs in counties in and around Central Ohio.  Interested students will need to submit the application, including short answers, and provide references, followed by an audition or submission of support materials, in what will ultimately be a two-step process for determining the final recipient of this year’s Fellowship.

The Roundtable intends to award its third Fellowship before the end of the 2024-25 academic year.  As in the past, one fellowship will be awarded, as discussion continues regarding the possibility of funding multiple awards in the future.

THE APPLICATION

The application process is divided into 2 separate parts:  the written application and the live in-person interview.

The deadline for submitting the on-line “written portion” of the application is midnight on Monday, March 31.  Applications submitted after that will not be accepted.

All applicants, regardless of being invited to move on to the in-person interview or not, will be notified of their application status by mid-April.  Anyone not notified by that time should feel welcome to contact the Theatre Roundtable through this website to resolve any discrepancies in their contact information, and to obtain their status.

Applicants invited to move on to the in-person interview will be given further information on what to bring and / or how to prepare for this final stage of the Fellowship application process.  Currently, the in-person interview is planned to be held in Columbus, OH on Saturday, May 3 during the day. Any conflicts will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
